Customer Tagger - Timed Tags Feature

We're pleased to announce that our Customer Tagger app now allows you to set expiry dates on your tagging rules, a perfect way to remove access to time-limited subscription products/services.

Applying an expiration to your tagging rules

Merchants using our Customer Tagger app will now see an option to specify whether that tag (once applied) should be removed after a set interval of time.

A number of Shopify merchants had been requesting this feature, specifically Shopify stores that sell memberships on subscription. They typically apply customer tags to control access to areas of their store. By setting the expiry date of a rule that grants this type of access, the tag can automatically be removed from the Customer once the specified membership interval (i.e. monthtly, 6 monthly, yearly ) has expired. This will then prevent the Customer from accessing the membership area until they purchase a renewal.
